Clean, tidy, and within easy distance of most things you want to access in central York.

Close to everything and despite being on a busy road, it was nice and peaceful, literally a few minutes walk to Minster and then onto Shambles. Easy access to everything. Room was a decent sizem, very good rainfall shower, tea and coffee options and refills. Although no staff on site, I was contacted 1/2 times a day to check if needed anything or any issues. Full length mirror/dressing area and hairdresser and plug near the mirror. Clean and basic and good natural light.
It does state clean and basic, and it is definately that. So if you want something more, maybe this room would not suit you. If you look (not too closely) you can see the wear and tear, especially in the bathroom, paint missing or splashed on the wrong things, taps and plug hole very full of limescale. Mix match of cheap furniture and fittings, both myself and my husband both caught our foot on the leg bar of the bed walking around. Couldnt get the blinds down, and the curtains let too much light in from the curtain rail. Very slippery on the shower base, could do with something to prevent this. No toiletries. Just small attentions to detail which would really elevate the property. Very small foyer which had 3 large bags of something in there for 2/3 days. Narrow stairs. Fire doors did not look or feel like fire doors so likely not rated. Lack of communal seating or kitchen area.
A due passi dalla cattedrale di York e 15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione dei bus/treni. Camera molto spaziosa, avevamo un letto matrimoniale e un comodo divanetto. In camera è presente un bollitore e tutto l'occorrente per te e caffè, molto apprezzato. Karen è un host molto disponibile e la comunicazione è stata ottima!
