A wonderful hotel for a beach holiday - excellent service and an amazing sea! The hotel is large, very clean and well maintained. The housekeeping deserves special praise. Towels were changed every day and a bottle of water was provided in the room. In addition, around lunchtime, the staff came again to change the towels and leave extra bottles of water. The room also had a coffee machine, kettle, milk, coffee and tea -a very nice touch. All rooms have sea views, although the exact view varies slightly from room to room. The beach is about a 5–8 minute walk to the right from the hotel. The hotel does not have its own sun loungers on the beach, but nobody charged us for using the available loungers. Perhaps this was because we stayed in September, towards the end of the season. And the sea is simply breathtaking! The water is incredibly clear and turquoise. On our part of Nissi Beach, the sea is not shallow, which we really appreciated. For us, it was truly paradise on earth! Breakfast was good and varied, although the selection was almost exactly the same every day. A lovely bonus was the champagne served at breakfast. Dinner was less impressive. The dessert selection was considerably weaker than the meat and main dishes. Some of the desserts were very dry, one of the pasta dishes was quite disappointing, and the Pavlova with meringue was far too sweet for our taste. In the evenings at 8:30 pm, there is a pianist playing in the cigar bar. Unfortunately, we felt that the piano was placed in a poor location. The pianist is clearly visible only from the first three tables, while columns block the view from the rest of the seating area. So, in our opinion, there is hardly any proper evening entertainment. On Saturdays, there is a violinist playing inside during breakfast, which is a lovely touch - unfortunately, only on Saturdays.
For us, the main attraction was the sea, so we were very happy with our stay. The outdoor pool felt rather small to us, and the water was heavily chlorinated. The indoor SPA pool was also quite chlorinated and the water was cold. On the positive side, the SPA is free for guests, although the sauna requires advance booking. The hotel is set well away from the road, so there is virtually no traffic noise. All rooms have sea views. The only thing we would suggest improving is the soundproofing. There is a gap around the entrance door, so sounds from the corridor can be heard quite easily. Fortunately, the corridors were quiet at night during our stay. The service was excellent! The staff were attentive, friendly and genuinely caring. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. We came primarily for the sea - and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. Beautiful turquoise water, cleanliness, excellent service and a comfortable hotel made our holiday very enjoyable.
