Centro Histórico
Mid-rangeBest for: A first trip, everything on foot
The pedestrianised old town around Calle Larios, the cathedral, the Roman theatre and the Alcazaba fortress on the hill above it, with the Picasso Museum a few streets away. Compact, flat and full of tapas bars.
🚶 Walk to
The cathedral, the Alcazaba, the Roman theatre, the Picasso Museum and the port promenade.
⚠️ Watch out for
The tapas streets are loud until late, especially in summer and during Feria in August. Marble paving that has been polished by footfall is slippery in rain.
